Play Switch Magic online for free. Switch Magic is a 20-stage level escape platformer game where you help a mage find the hidden rare gem on each level. Use magical crates to activate switches or act as platforms you can use to jump across to safely make it to the end of each level. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Tap the red and gray star button in the center of the game’s welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
- Levels are unlocked sequentially.
- Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
- The welcome screen has buttons for full screen mode & sound control in the upper right corner.

  - Desktop
    - Move the wizard using the arrow keys or WASD
      - move left by pressing the left arrow key or A
      - move right by pressing the right arrow key or D
      - jump by pressing the up arrow key or W
      - Use your mouse left click button to focus your energy on a box. Press J to send your energy orb to a box to switch places with it. You can also press the spacebar to shoot your energy orb.
      - Touchscreen devices
        
        Use the on screen controls
        
        Move left and move right buttons are in the lower left corner.
        
        Jump and energy orb throwing buttons are in the lower right.
        
        Controls & indicators
        
        The top center shows which level number you are playing.
        
        The upper right corner has buttons to restart the current level or return to the game’s level select screen.
        
        The level select screen shows which levels you have beat.

        Levels
        
        This game has 20 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
        
        You can replay previously beat levels.
        
        Levels are not timed, but require a lot of patience to work through.
        
        You die if you run into any spikes or fall off platform.
        
        This game offers unlimited continues.
        
        Crate types
        
        Green – you can push them
        
        Blue – you can use your magic to switch positions with them.
        
        Gray – you can use your magic to switch positions with them (like blue boxes) and they can also float in midair as a temporary platform.
        
        Basic tips
        
        You often have to push or swap spots with boxes in order to progress through the levels.
        
        On some levels the gem which serves as the level exit are only fully illuminated if you first drop a box on a switch.
        
        Using crates
        
        Green crates can be pushed into position.
        
        Crates can be stacked upon one another.
        
        On levels where you have to jump across wide spiked areas you have to select a magic cart, jump partly across the spikes, activate your magic to switch positions with the crate, and then jump back across again using that crate as a temporary platform.
        
        On some later levels you have to have precision timing to move gray boxes into position so you can reach the final platform. Sometimes it is best to select the gray box from afar by clicking on it, start your jump & then activate the orb while in midair to get the crate position correct.
        
        If you aim at one crate and the path of your orb along its way to that crate crosses another crate your orb will activate on the first crate it crosses rather than the one you selected.
